May you take your seats…

The Star Court Theatre’s Autumn May menu is a nourishing mix of our customary Art House film fare including edible offerings of sex (Black & White & Sex), rock ‘n’ roll (Shine a Light), and French (Romantics Anonymous and Le Havre). Our regular serve of greens is Gasland and on the specials board we offer up Burning Man and the taut psychological Australian drama Wish You Were Here.

But this month to prevent hibernation or notions of a carb or fat free diet we have prepared a Mad Max all-out double feature cult binge on Saturday 19th May. The moon will be almost full so step out, indulge yourself, dress the part and bring your friends. Our bar will be busy and the streets will be empty.

Partake in May and make good use of Salon Verdi’s fully licenced bar which now includes an array of luscious amazingly indulgent Mövenpick Choc Tops and Tubs.

The deep spiritual cleanse will commence in June with live acts including two performances by the Lismore Symphony and the extraordinary blues/Hindustani/Folk musician Harry Manx. Look forward later in the year to the pure voice of Katie Noonan and the wicked antics of Kitty Flanagan.

You can stroll down the Star Court Arcade and buy tickets in the Theatre Shop, but remember tickets are always available for movies at the door.

Enjoy!
