The Dawn Wall

THE DAWN WALL is an award winning feature length documentary that follows the
journey of American rock climbers Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson as they
climb a seemingly impossible 3,000 foot rock face in Yosemite National Park,
California. The pair lived on the sheer vertical cliff for weeks, igniting a frenzy of
global media attention.
The film also tells the back story of Tommy Caldwell who was taken hostage in
Kyrgyzstan at the age of 22 and, shortly after, he lost his index finger in an accident.
The film is ultimately a story of dedication, overcoming adversity and friendship.
